Designed in bamboo – A unique Wellness space in Bali.
Sharing the Arc at the Green School in Bali, Indonesia – a wellness space and gymnasium, is a one-of-a-kind structure inspired by the Human Body that has been built using bamboo, an Eco-friendly construction material.
The Arc enclosure of intersecting 14-metre-tall bamboo, delicate and lightweight, arches is strong and sturdy as it is joined by gridshells, curving in two opposite directions. Bamboo is an enigmatic material and has been used for its strength, beauty and flexibility.
The Arc employs one of nature’s greatest strategies for creating large spaces with minimal structure.
