The strong and undeniable connection between fashion and interior design is evergrowing today, with one influencing the other quite strongly. The proof lies in some of the fashion world’s biggest names such as Calvin Klein, Versace, Manish Malhotra, Sabyasachi and several others.The reasons for these fashion design wizards entering the space designing world is fairly obvious. Both are set in the same playground and involve studying trends, using visual art as an influence, sketching designs and experimenting with colours, textures, fabrics and material combinations. There is much that is borrowed and shared and it is always captivating to see how fashion trends are adapted into the world of interiors.
INIFD Classroom gives our students exclusive access to tutorials, discussions and lectures from some of the most well known names in the design world through the digital portal “The Voice of Fashion”. The Voice of Fashion is India’s first dedicated digital Lifestyle portal dedicated to Fashion and Interior Design- imagined and curated by RISE Worldwide.It tracks the most important conversations in Indian Fashion & Interior design and brings together the voices, opinions & ideas of what design is and can be.
